Softball Instructor

Rebecca Haney

Rebecca began playing softball at a very young age and quickly grew to love the game. She attended and played at Hartsville High School in Hartsville, SC. Throughout her high school career, Rebecca achieved several notable achievements and records:

Was named to both the All-Region and All-State teams in multiple seasons.
Held the team’s highest batting average in both her Junior and Senior years.
Pitched 2 perfect games and multiple no-hitters.
Finished her high school career with a batting average over .400.
Set a school record for most home runs in a single season.
Was nominated for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award.

Following her impressive high school career, Rebecca received several scholarship offers from schools including, NC State, South Carolina, the College of Charleston as well as many DII and DIII programs. Ultimately, Rebecca decided to pursue a nursing degree from Clemson University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Hitting/Catching Instructor

Craig Chipman

A native of Southern California and the San Francisco Bay Area Craig recently relocated to the Charleston area with his wife Robin.

Craig played baseball both collegiately and professionally prior to discovering his passion for coaching. He is a veteran instructor with high school, college, and Independent Ball coaching experience, with a impressive reputation as both a hitting and catching instructor.

Throughout his coaching career, Craig has helped countless athletes reach the high school and collegiate level including a handful of current minor and major league ball players. Most recently Craig spent 5 years with the Oakland Athletics organization as part of their Field Operations team where he gained valuable Major League exposure.

Craig is well connected within the travel, collegiate, and professional communities and is excited to bring his wealth of knowledge to the Holy City Athletics Family.

Softball Instructor

Ashlie “AJ” Seagle

Coach AJ brings a wealth of experience to the field, having played and coached at the recreational, travel, middle school, and high school levels. Throughout her coaching career she has led numerous teams to district, state, and national titles earning recognition for her success and leadership.

Ashlie specializes in working with beginner to intermediate athletes with the focus of promoting strong fundamental development, proper mechanics, and teamwork, both mentally and physically.

Passionate about the game, Coach AJ is dedicated to helping others grow their love for softball just as she has.

Hitting/Pitching Instructor

Coach Christian Cocokios

Christian is former Collegiate athlete, attending Southern Illinois University. Christian, a two way player through his career, played both the middle infield and pitched.

Currently, Christian coaches both Varsity and JV baseball at First Baptist High School and has over 9 years of experience coaching private hitting and pitching lessons.

Christian graduated from SIU in 2016 with a degree in Physiology. He leverages this to incorporate biomechanics and biomechanical software into his training sessions. This allows him to analyze movement patterns in detail and identify precise areas for mechanical improvement. His goal is to help athletes train smarter, move more efficiently, and perform at an elite level.

Coach Jacob Fisher

Born from a desire to empower the next generation of athletes, Holy City Athletics is the vision of Jacob Fisher—a space built to lay the foundation for athletic excellence that transcends the field.

Jacob is a Charleston native who played at Wando High School as a RHP, 1B, and 3B. As a senior, he was ranked the #10 pitcher and #25 overall player in South Carolina. He was recruited by several D1 and D2 programs before committing to Winthrop University, where he played from 2018–2020 before transferring to the College of Charleston.
While at CofC, Jacob began coaching—leading private lessons, summer camps, and speed/agility sessions as Co-Director of Baseball at Pro Performance Athletics. He later served as Athletic Coordinator for Charleston’s Middle School Baseball and Softball program and launched his own training program, JF Pitching Academy.
